Update Xiaomi Redmi 1S to Android Kitkat 4.4.4

Important 

Make sure you should have at least 80% of charging before flashing.
Backup to your important data before going to do ROM installation.

Step 1

Android kitkat 4.4.4

1. After downloadingAndroid kitkat 4.4.4zip file, place it in your external storage (sd card). Make sure to place them in your root directory.

2. Now go to Settings >>Back & Reset (backup all your data)

3. Now go to Settings >> About phone, click Check system update button.

4. After you hit on Check system udpates button, you will get MIUI update menu and press option button

5. Now select, Select update package<downloaded > and press Update button.

6. Your Redmi 1S smartphone will restart and automatically starts the update. This update may take upto 15 mints duration. So don’t turn off your device until this update completes. Now we will move to step 2 for installing Google Apps.

Step 2

Play Store

You need get access to your MI Recovery Mode. If you don’t know how to access Redmi 1S MI Recovery mode, just hold Power button and Volume Up button untill you see MI Recovery.

1. Choose your language using volume down bottom and press the power bottom to select

2. Select the update.zip to begin google app installation ,it will take few minutes to complete installing Google Applications.

3. Now Restart your Redmi 1S phone to enjoy Android 4.4.4 on your Xiaomi redmi 1s.

Congratulations, You have now upgraded your Redmi 1S Android Smartphone Kitkat 4.4.4
