It will be powered by Qualcomm 2.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 810 CPU, designed on 64-bit chipset architecture. The report did not mention the Android version of Xperia Z4, but it is likely to be Android 5.0 (Lollipop).
Both RAM and internal storage will get an upgrade compared to the current Xperia flagships; therefore, Xperia Z4 will have 4GB RAM and 32GB built-in storage. Reportedly, it will also have a better sound quality with an improved amplifier.
The camera is said to be have the same resolution (20.7MP) as Xperia Z3, with an upgrade in the sensor from IMX220 to a curved Exmor RS CMOS. Xperia Z4 will be the first Sony smartphone to have LTE Cat.6 connectivity and Bluetooth 4.1.
The report also says that Sony will quit releasing the flagship devices bi-annually with the launch of Xperia Z4. According to the report, "A major reason could be the fact that flagship devices have reached a sort of saturation point and there aren't any huge advancements that can be made in a six-month period."

As for who will develop the new Nexus, this is anybody's guess: LG gave us the Nexus 4 and 5, but Motorola most recently took over the reigns and delivered the Nexus 6. Could 2015 bring Motorola's second Nexus outing?
  •  LG G Flex 2

LG started making a phone with a deliberate curve, and it's continuing to turn heads with another, the LG G Flex 2.
This concave Android phone is the follow-up to the world's first curved smartphone, the LG G Flex, and while it bends the same way, it has new dimensions and specs backing it up.
At CES 2015, I found the LG G Flex 2 screen to be noticeably smaller and easier to hold at 5.5 inches, matching the display size of the LG G3. The previous Flex was a full 6 inches.
Going with that new, more manageable display size is a high resolution P-OLED touchscreen that's 1080p, up from the decidedly deficient 720p display of the original.
With a faster Snapdragon processor, more RAM and Android 5.0 Lollipop on board this banana-shaped boat, the LG G Flex 2 is headed in the right direction.

  • Nexus 6

Moto X or Nexus 6? It's a question that has bugged many fans of "pure" Android (including myself) for a few months, and it's not hard to see why. Although both Motorola smartphones are sleekly designed and pack some clever software tricks, they couldn't be more different in some areas. The Moto X is a mid-size, mid-priced device with the "good enough" hardware to match, but it's wonderful to hold and touts features even its bigger sibling lacks. The Nexus 6, meanwhile, is an all-out flagship for those who refuse to compromise on specs or software updates, even if it means carrying a massive beast of a handset. So which one deserves a place in your pocket? I spent a few weeks with each to find out, and the answer might surprise you.
